Program Overview

Season 1

Like when life adjusts to the sunshine and showers of spring, so is season 1 for the participant. This season includes getting used to life on-site, obtaining and keeping a job, beginning to budget, and other goal-setting tasks. At this point, visits are limited, and the emphasis is on forming goals for spiritual, personal, and emotional growth.

Season 2

As spring grows into summer, the participant grows into season 2. And with that comes more freedom, more chances to grow. Visits become more flexible, work continues, Bible study flourishes, and goals are met or being pursued.

Season 3

With autumn comes maturity, and the same with the third season. The participant continues to grow and mature, the roots that have been planted are now showing their fruit and colors. Some notable differences here are an active participation in the church and local ministries, a maturation of healthy habits, and looking forward to graduation. It’s kind of like storing up for a winter storm. Eventually the storms come, but with firm roots and healthy growth, the participant will be prepared to weather them.

Season 4

When a participant reaches season 4, it’s the culmination of everything for which they have been working. The participant should be getting ready to fly on their own, but not solo—since we’re always here for them. More and more freedoms are added, and more responsibility is placed on the participant. Those who make it to this stage are truly succeeding in every sense that our program offers.
